    Reformer Pilates [Semi-Private]

At Akasha Wellness Bangkok, we offer Semi-Private to Private Reformer Pilates classes with different focuses, including classic sessions and cardio-based sessions that use jump boards on the reformer.

Reformer Pilates is a type of Pilates that utilizes a specialized machine called a reformer, which consists of a sliding platform and attached springs and strings, to perform exercises that focus on core strength, flexibility, and balance. The benefits of reformer Pilates include improved posture, balance, and stability, increased muscle strength and tone, and reduced risk of injury.

You'll also find Reformer classes focused on working up a sweat.

    Reformer + Cardio [Jumpboard]

Jump board Pilates is a type of Pilates exercise that utilizes a specialized attachment called a jump board, which is attached to the end of a reformer machine. The jump board provides a surface for the feet to push off from, allowing for dynamic and high-energy movements that incorporate elements of cardio and plyometric exercises.

Jump board Pilates can be a fun and effective way to challenge the body, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase muscle strength and tone. It's often used as a form of cross-training for athletes or as a way to add variety to a traditional Pilates workout.

    Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a form of Pilates that uses body weight as resistance and is performed entirely on a mat. Unlike reformer Pilates, mat Pilates does not require any specialized equipment and can be done anywhere. Mat Pilates focuses on using body weight exercises to build core strength, improve flexibility, and promote overall physical fitness. Mat Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that can help improve posture, balance, and stability, as well as promote relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety.
